In recent years, some of my clients have used prepared meal delivery services like Factor to achieve their nutrition goals, and I’ve generally been impressed by Factor’s varied range of tasty and nutritious meals.
When I heard that Factor launched a line of dietary supplements, I was intrigued to find out how their greens powder compares to more established brands. I’ll share what I learned trying Factor Form Daily Greens myself and whether the supplement delivers.
Ultimately, I concluded that Factor’s green powder is a decent alternative to AG1, though with fewer ingredients. However, when it comes to a tasty, affordable daily greens powder, Live it Up Super Greens is my top recommendation for anyone looking to naturally support digestion, immunity, and normal energy levels. I’ll cover:

Factor Form Greens Quick Facts
Here’s a rundown of everything you should know about Factor’s new green powder, Factor Form Daily Greens:
- Key ingredients:
- Powdered greens and fruits
- Adaptogens
- Vitamins and minerals
- Ginseng
- Prebiotics and 2 billion CFU of probiotics
- Stevia leaf extract
- Nutrition facts (per serving):
- 20 calories
- 4g total carbs
- 2g dietary fiber
- 1g protein
- Health claims: Support for gut health, immunity, energy, and mood
- Flavors: 3 options
- Original (notes of refreshing citrus and crisp green apple)
- Blueberry Acai Pomegranate
- Pineapple Orange Mango
- Cost:
- One-time purchase: $69 per month, or $2.30 per serving.
- Subscribe & save 40%: $41.40 per month, $1.38 per serving
Bottom Line: Are Factor75’s Greens Worth It?
Whether you opt for the 30-serving tub or the single-serving travel packs, Factor Form Daily Greens remains one of the more expensive green powders on the market. At $69 for a one-time tub purchase, it costs significantly more per serving than budget-friendly alternatives like Live it Up Super Greens.
In my opinion, Factor's greens powder still isn't worth the price tag. Beyond the cost, it relies on synthetic vitamins and minerals rather than whole-food nutrients, and its 2 billion CFU of probiotics and lack of digestive enzymes falls short of more comprehensive digestive formulas like Live it Up, which offers significantly more probiotics and dietary enzymes for close to half the price.
What Is Factor?
Owned by meal-kit company HelloFresh, Factor (previously known as Factor75) is a popular meal delivery service that offers a wide range of ready-to-eat meals, smoothies, snacks, and juices.
Factor's meal plans focus on lean protein and quality ingredients and accommodate various dietary preferences. Factor caters to busy individuals who don't have time to regularly shop and cook, with balanced meals available in dairy-free, vegetarian, “calorie smart,” high-protein, and keto-friendly options.

Dietitian Tip:
I applaud Factor’s goal of making healthy eating more convenient. However, potential customers should note that some of the meals on Factor’s menu have a surprisingly high amount of sodium and saturated fat.
In late 2024, Factor launched Factor Form, a supplement brand featuring a greens powder, whey protein powder, and electrolyte powder. Factor Form Daily Greens, which appears to be modeled after AG1, is delivered every 29 days, either in a 30-serving jar or in a box containing 30 single-serving packets.
Let's look at Factor Greens' Pros and Cons
- Single-serving packets are convenient for travel or busy mornings
- Welcome kit includes a shaker bottle, frother, and a 40% discount on first order
- No added sugars
- Provides exactly 100% of the daily recommendation for 10 vitamins
- Contains one serving of vegetables per scoop
- Adaptogens may help with mood and stress response
- Some customers prefer the taste over AG1
- Expensive after the discounted first month
- Uses synthetic versions of vitamins
- No organic ingredients
- Relatively low probiotics and no digestive enzymes
- Includes stevia and xanthan gum, which may be undesirable to some users
- No mention of third-party testing or GMP certification
Factor Greens Ingredients and Purported Benefits

Factor Form Daily Greens features ingredient blends designed to promote wellness, specifically immune support, gut health support, and energy and mood support. After looking closely at the detailed nutritional information on the Supplement Facts, here are my thoughts on whether the ingredients in Factor Greens are likely to have a noticeable impact on these areas of health.
Benefit #1: Immune Support
Vitamin C, vitamin D, and zinc are among the ingredients in Factor Form that provide potential immune support. Indeed, one serving of Daily Greens provides exactly 100% of the recommended daily values of vitamin C, vitamin D, and zinc, which are widely recognized for their role in strengthening the body’s immune response. You’ll also get 100% DV of other immune-supporting vitamins like B6 and folate (as 5-MTHF).
In fact, one serving of Factor Form Daily Greens provides 100% DV of 10 vitamins and one mineral (zinc), which is a refreshing change from greens powders that exceed the recommended doses of micronutrients (e.g., AG1).
However, it’s worth noting that the vitamins and minerals in Factor Form come from synthetic nutrients, just as you’d find in a typical multivitamin. These are regarded as nutritionally inferior to vitamins and minerals derived from whole-food ingredients.
Factor also claims that its “greens and fruits blend” provides a full serving of vegetables, thanks to powdered kale, spirulina, spinach, broccoli, alfalfa leaf, chlorella, beet root, acerola, acai, goji, and several other fruit and vegetable powders. However, if these fruits and vegetables don’t contribute any vitamins and minerals to the powder’s micronutrient content, I have to assume they are included in tiny amounts.
Although Factor doesn’t disclose specific ingredient amounts, the Supplement Facts show that the “greens and fruits blend” is only 4 g per serving, compared with the 7.3 g of greens in Live it Up Super Greens that naturally provide all of the supplement’s micronutrients.
Benefit #2: Gut Health Support
The digestion-supporting ingredients in Factor Form Daily Greens include chicory root inulin, Jerusalem artichoke inulin, and flax seed. These sources of prebiotic fibers are intended to nourish the beneficial bacteria in the microbiome, potentially leading to more regular digestion.
A serving of Daily Greens also provides two types of probiotics (Bacillus subtilis and Bifidobacterium bifidum), each providing 1 billion colony-forming units. While 2 billion CFU is a good starting point for digestion support, many dietitians recommend a minimum daily dose of 5 billion CFU (the amount in Live it Up Super Greens). Research suggests that larger doses are better at increasing microbial diversity and supporting normal gastrointestinal function.
I was also surprised that there are no digestive enzymes in Factor Form Daily Greens, even though they are found in most greens powders to promote nutrient absorption.
Benefit #3: Energy and Mood
Factor Form Daily Greens contains several plants and mushrooms considered adaptogens, including lion's mane, ashwagandha, and Rhodiola extracts, as well as reishi mushroom and turmeric root powders. These ingredients may help support the body’s natural response to stress, promote mental clarity and focus, and contribute to a more balanced mood.
Although the potential benefits of these ingredients are widely recognized, the total amount of the adaptogen blend is just 625 mg, leading me to question its potency. After all, 625 mg is much smaller than the recommended dose of many individual adaptogens. For example, studies suggest that the minimum therapeutic dose of reishi mushrooms is 1.5 g per day, yet the amount in Daily Greens can only be a small fraction of that amount.
Similarly, Daily Greens features an “energy blend” consisting of Panax ginseng (Asian ginseng) extract and ginger root powder, both of which are commonly used in traditional wellness practices to help reduce fatigue and increase alertness.
However, Panax ginseng is usually taken in doses of at least 100 mg, while many people consume 1 gram or more of ginger root daily. Suffice it to say, the energy blend in Daily Greens, which totals 70 mg, may not be a large enough dose to provide the natural energy that Factor’s customers seek.

Dietitian Tip:
Before using a dietary supplement containing ginseng or other herbal extracts, review the doses and possible medication interactions. Although it does not contain caffeine, ginseng is a stimulant, so check with a healthcare provider if it's right for you.
Factor Greens Quality and Testing
Factor and its parent company, HelloFresh, are leading names in the meal delivery industry, so it’s fair to assume that their products meet quality and safety standards. However, their new supplement brand Factor Form doesn’t yet have common quality assurance designations, such as Good Manufacturing Practice certification or NSF Certified for Sport.
Likewise, although the Factor Form website states that “we hand-select each ingredient in our Daily Greens formula and work with registered dietitians to ensure you're getting high nutritional value in every scoop,” the company doesn’t mention third-party testing, nor whether the product contains any common allergens.
Factor Greens Cost Analysis
Factor Form Daily Greens is available as either a one-time purchase or a monthly subscription. Here are the key details:
- A one-time purchase of a 30-serving jar of Factor Form Daily Greens costs $69, or $2.30 per serving.
- 30 single-serving travel packs cost $79 one time, or $2.63 per serving.
- Subscribe & Save offers 40% off the first order only—$41.40 ($1.38/serving) for the tub or $47.40 ($1.58 per serving) for travel packs—before reverting to the standard price on all future orders.
- First-time subscribers also receive a welcome kit with a shaker bottle, frother, and samples of Factor Form supplements.
- Free shipping is available for orders over $50, and the company also offers a money-back guarantee.
Factor Form Daily Greens’ price tag is at the expensive end of the greens supplements market, along with AG1. Other green powders offer comparable ingredients and nutrient density for a more reasonable price.
For example, a 30-serving container of Live it Up Super Greens’ monthly subscription costs $39.99, or $1.33 per serving, with no shipping fees and a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Factor Greens Taste Review
Factor Form Daily Greens is now available in three flavors—Original, Burberry Acai Pomegranate, and Pineapple Orange Mango—in both the 30-serving jar and the single-serving travel packs.
As a somewhat new product, Factor Form Daily Greens has fewer reviews than established greens powders with loyal customer bases. Much of the positive feedback on the Factor Form website comes from individuals who were compensated for trying Daily Greens and leaving a review.
Unsurprisingly, most of these are 5-star reviews that are notably vague about flavor and consistency, with comments like it tastes great relative to AG1, and its “highly palatable” flavor allows one to no longer “knowingly eat kale” ever again
After trying Factor Form Daily Greens, I found myself agreeing with many of the non-compensated reviewers on Amazon, such as the customer who wrote that it’s not a taste that they would seek out but it “goes down very easily.” I’m not a huge fan of stevia, and this powder seems to use quite a lot, but at least it provides enough sweetness to make it drinkable.
I also agreed with the Amazon reviewer who noted that it has a powdery texture and is better with chilled ice water than room temp.
Another reviewer reported that Daily Greens leaves “quite a bit of that insanely expensive powder on the walls of your glass,” no matter how it’s prepared. I had a similarly frustrating experience with the grainy texture, though using a frother helped a little.
Why I Recommend Live it Up

I’m broadly supportive of any product that helps people reach their nutrition and wellness goals. If Factor Form Daily Greens fits your budget and you don’t mind the taste, it could be a good way to supplement your diet with additional vitamins, powdered fruits, greens, mushrooms, and herbal extracts.
Ultimately, I was disappointed by the lack of information about testing and manufacturing standards and the surprisingly high price tag, which makes Factor Form Daily Greens $1 more per serving (or $30 more per month) than my recommended greens powder, Live it Up Super Greens.
With 5 billion CFU of probiotics and a digestive enzyme blend, Live it Up Super Greens provides more comprehensive digestion support than Factor Form. Live it Up is made with organic vegetables and incorporates monk fruit extract for a hint of natural sweetness, instead of the stevia used by Factor Form.
A consistently top-rated greens powder, Live it Up features 16 nutritious superfoods that provide 3 cups of vegetables per serving. The micronutrients in Live it Up come from the greens themselves, rather than the synthetic vitamins found in Factor Form and AG1. Plus, Live it Up is always third-party tested and GMP-certified for quality.
With two tasty, naturally sugar-free flavors, a daily scoop of Live it Up Super Greens is a great way to increase your daily intake of greens and support immune function, gut health, and energy balance.
Frequently Asked Questions About Factor Form Daily Greens
Want to learn more? Check out my answers to these frequently asked questions.
What do nutritionists really think about powdered greens?
As a registered dietitian, I think powdered greens can be an excellent way to augment your everyday nutrition and bridge dietary gaps. Although green powders are not a replacement for whole foods, a high-quality supplement like Live it Up Super Greens can provide additional leafy greens, organic vegetables, fiber, probiotics, and digestive enzymes that might otherwise be missing from your diet.
Does drinking greens reduce belly fat?
Green powders can be a nice addition to weight management plans, but they cannot reduce belly fat. They are usually very low in calories and net carbs yet rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that support overall wellness and a healthy metabolism. The digestion-supporting ingredients in green powders, including fiber, prebiotics, probiotics, and dietary enzymes, may also increase feelings of fullness and potentially ease bloating discomfort.
Is Factor75 the same as HelloFresh?
Although Factor75 and HelloFresh are owned by the same parent company, they are distinct services. HelloFresh is a meal kit delivery service that provides recipes for various dietary needs and pre-measured ingredients, whereas Factor offers a weekly menu of restaurant-quality meals that maintain freshness after delivery and are ready to eat in just a few minutes. In 2024, Factor launched Factor Form, a supplements brand that includes Factor Form Daily Greens.
How easy is it to cancel Factor75?
Factor and Factor Form operate on a subscription model, with meals delivered weekly and supplements delivered every 29 days. Now, Daily Greens is also available as a one-time purchase for those who would rather not subscribe. The Factor website is pretty straightforward and user-friendly, so customers who wish to cancel their subscription can do so by accessing “Plan Settings” and clicking “Deactivate My Plan.” It's also possible to pause or change delivery day options. Factor Form provides a 30-day money back guarantee, but only on first orders.
