As a dietitian, I’m always on the lookout for great supplements my clients can add to their daily routine, and greens gummies are no exception.
Both Bloom and Grüns greens gummies have hit the market with a splash, and my clients are already asking about these top-selling products. So I’ve taken the time to examine their ingredients, health claims, taste, and cost to see if these gummies can help my clients meet their wellness goals.
🏆 Which is a buy and which is a pass? It’s clear that Grüns did their research and developed a more well-rounded greens gummy than Bloom. Even though Bloom Supergreens Gummies has more probiotics and a better taste and price, Grüns contains more greens, more micronutrients, and more fiber.
⭐ But is it the best green supplement? Not in my opinion. Gummies aren’t always the best choice when it comes to supplements. For greens powders, Live it Up Super Greens is my ultimate recommendation.

With a focus on making “smart nutrition snackable and packable,” Grüns has packed greens, fiber, vitamins, and minerals into gummy form since their debut in 2023. The company is currently maintaining their focus on greens gummies, providing low sugar and sugar free versions of their greens supplement for adults and kids.

Geared toward women’s health, Bloom’s products range from creatine gummies to colostrum and collagen powder and even a prebiotic soda. The company has quickly jumped on the gummy craze and launched their Bloom Supergreens Gummies in 2025.
Their primary purported health claims include support for bloating and gut health, energy, healthy cell and tissue growth, metabolism boost, hormone balance, immune function, and skin health.

Greens Gummies Formula Analysis
Let’s take a more in depth look at each gummy’s formula to see what underpins their nutritional structure and health benefits.
Grüns Formula
While Grüns’ comes across as a greens supplement—“superfoods greens gummies” is front and center on their packaging—their primary focus is actually being a multivitamin. In fact, one of their tag lines is “You have nutrition gaps. Grüns fills them.”
So let’s take a look at their formula to see what makes them a multivitamin and how greens fit into the picture as well.
Added synthetic vitamins and minerals. With 12 added vitamins at 100% and 9 added minerals at 25%, Grüns definitely provides essential nutrients in standard multivitamin style.
Fiber and superfoods. In the Core Nutrients Blend, Grüns includes a heavy load of fiber along with 30 vegetables, fruits, and functional mushrooms. I appreciate how all of these are organic (minus the largest ingredient, tapioca fiber).
There are 8.67g in this greens blend, with 6 grams coming from dietary fiber. While this amount of fiber is fabulous for gut health, unfortunately, it likely leaves less than 3 grams of plants.
This is more than what Bloom gummies provide (likely less than 1 gram of greens), but much less than Live it Up Super Greens powder at 7.3 grams of greens.
Grüns key ingredients: Organic inulin, organic shiitake, organic wheatgrass powder, organic alfalfa powder, organic oat grass powder, organic spirulina powder, organic goji berry, organic cranberry fruit powder.
Other ingredients. The primary structural ingredients in Grüns include sugar, water, and pectin. While Grüns does have a sugar free option that uses a rare low calorie sugar called allulose, their low sugar version contains 8 grams of added cane sugar. Other ingredients include citric acid, natural flavors, vegetable juice, and sodium citrate.
Bloom Gummies Formula
Bloom Supergreens Gummies aim to replicate their greens supplement, with a special focus on flavor, an attribute they are well known for. How do Bloom gummies stack up nutritionally? Let’s dig in.
Added synthetic vitamins and minerals. With 6 added vitamins and 4 minerals, Bloom is a far cry from Grüns’ all-purpose supplement. That said, Bloom adds these with intention: folate for healthy hair and tissues; vitamins C, A, D and zinc for immune support; and chromium for metabolism.
Let’s focus briefly on chromium, which is added at 571% of your daily recommended intake. While higher doses of this trace mineral is unlikely to cause adverse reactions, caution should still be taken as there is not a lot of data available on long term high intakes.
Fiber and superfoods. Like Grüns, Bloom contains a good dose of fiber at 5 grams per serving. It also contains 16 organic fruits, vegetables, and blue green algae. Again, I really appreciate that these plants are all organic, with the exception of the tapioca fiber and chicory root inulin.
The Greens, Fruits & Veggies blend contains both the fiber and greens, with a total volume of 5.7 grams. Since there is 5 grams of dietary fiber in this blend (primarily from tapioca and inulin), that leaves likely less than 1 gram of fruits and veggies total.
Bloom key ingredients: Organic apple, organic kale leaf powder, organic chlorella, organic barley grass powder, organic spinach, organic beet, organic broccoli, organic wheatgrass powder, organic spirulina, organic strawberry.
Probiotic blend: What I like about Bloom is that it goes beyond just fiber for gut health and includes probiotics as well. This is definitely a step up from Grüns which does not contain any probiotics. While 2 billion CFU per serving may not be an effective dose for most people, it absolutely contributes to our digestive wellness and overall probiotic intake.
Other ingredients: Sugar, water, and pectin are a must in all gummies, and Bloom is no different. It also includes agar, which is derived from seaweed and acts like pectin to help form a gel. But Bloom’s formula has even more additives than Grüns, including white mineral oil, tapioca starch, and carnauba wax to help prevent the gummies from sticking together and give them shine.
Even more ingredients: lactic acid, sodium citrate, natural flavors, turmeric (color), and spirulina extract (color).
🏆 Formula Winner: Grüns
Bloom does better in the gut health department by including both probiotics and fiber, but Grüns comes out on top because it contains more greens, is a more well-rounded multivitamin, and has fewer “other” ingredients.
⭐ Want a better greens formula? Live it Up Super Greens is far and away the winner. If you’re looking to up your greens intake with a product without fillers and sugar, and with way more ways to support your digestive health, Super Greens contains 7.3 grams of greens (3 cups of vegetables per serving!), 5 billion CFU probiotics, and 3 different digestive enzymes.
Taste Review
With ingredients like fiber, plants, and vitamins, it’s likely these won’t quite meet your gummy candy-level expectations. Taste and texture tend to be a bit different, but for the most part, many people enjoy these greens supplements.
Grüns Taste
- Flavor: Original. According to the Grüns website, their gummies taste of strawberries and sweet greens. The company also offers limited-time seasonal flavors on occasion.
-
Sweeteners
- Low Sugar: Cane Sugar
- Sugar Free: Allulose, Reb M (Onosweet)
-
Sugar content
- Low Sugar: 8 grams added sugar
- Sugar Free: 0 grams
Though I definitely struggled with the sweet earthy flavor of Grüns, most customer reviews are positive on the taste and texture.
Though it does seem that Grüns’ physical characteristics may vary.
Bloom Taste Review
- Flavor: Strawberry Kiwi. According to the website, the taste is ‘“fresh-picked strawberry with a tangy-kiwi twist.”
- Sweeteners: Sugar, stevia leaf extract (Reb A)
- Sugar content: 3 grams added sugar
Customer reviews for Bloom Supergreens gummies are also mostly positive.
I thought the Bloom gummies were far better tasting than Grüns, though some people aren’t quite as smitten with them. The texture is definitely stickier.
🏆 Taste Winner: Bloom
While Grüns is palatable and does not get stuck in my teeth as much as Bloom’s gummies do, I personally prefer Bloom’s taste. It’s sweet, a little tart, and you can’t really taste the greens. (Which, if I’m honest, is likely because there aren't as many greens as expected).
⭐ Want a better taste? While both gummies are a throw back to our childhood candy dreams, their texture and taste fall a bit short in my opinion. I much prefer the taste of Live it Up Super Greens, which is refreshing, a bit sweet, and not bitter or earthy. Wild Berries is my ultimate favorite—it’s a subtly sweet, tart berry delight. It also doesn’t have the aftertaste of “rotting vegetables” that some customers equate to greens gummies.
Cost Comparison
Price is often the most important factor when it comes to supplements. Check out how Grüns and Bloom greens gummies impact your wallet.
Grüns Cost
28 servings per package
-
One time purchase: $64.00 ($2.28 per serving)
- $79.99 after your first purchase: ($2.85 per serving)
- Monthly subscription: $48.00 ($1.71 per serving)
- Shipping: Free on first subscription orders only
- 30 day money-back guarantee on first orders
At nearly $2 a serving, Grüns isn’t as pricey as brands like AG1, but it certainly falls on the higher-priced end of the green supplement market.
Bloom Gummies Cost
12 servings per package (you need to buy 3 boxes for a month)
- One time purchase: $19.99 ($1.66 per serving)
- Monthly subscription: $17.99 ($1.49 per serving)
- Shipping: All shipping and handling costs are paid by the customer
Bloom has always been budget friendly with their greens powder, but at $1.49 a serving, these gummies aren’t worth what you’re getting in my opinion.
🏆 Cost Winner: Bloom
Bloom Supergreens Gummies are much easier on the wallet than Grüns. This makes sense, seeing as they have a smaller serving size, use less added vitamins and minerals, have a lower volume of greens, and only come with 12 in a package.
⭐ Want a better price? Not only is Live it Up Super Greens a better product all-around for quality greens, it also has much more cost effective pricing:
- One time purchase (30 day supply): $59.99 ($1.99 per serving)
- Monthly subscription: $39.99 ($1.33 per serving)
Quality and Safety
The great news is that both Grüns and Bloom are keyed into quality and safety as a top priority.
Grüns Quality
- Made with organic vegetables (except the tapioca fiber)
- Made in the USA
- GMP-certified
- Third-party tested
Bloom Quality
- Made with organic vegetables (except for the tapioca fiber and chicory root inulin)
- GMP-certified
- Third-party tested
🏆 Quality Winner: Tie
It’s a tie! Both Bloom and Grüns have appropriate quality standards in place for their products. Live it Up Super Greens is also third party tested, GMP certified, formulated with organic vegetables, and made in the USA with globally sourced ingredients..
Why Choose Live it Up Super Greens Instead

While Grüns wins out as the better greens gummy on formula, both of these dietary supplements are strong contenders. With that said, if you’re looking to close vegetable gaps with a product focused on gut health, I’d ultimately recommend Live it Up Super Greens.
Super Greens contains much more organic vegetables per serving than either Grüns or Bloom gummies. In fact, one scoop equals 3 cups of veggies! It also contains more probiotics than either option as well as digestive enzymes (which both gummies are missing). And as a powder, it contains no fillers or added sugar, unlike gummy supplements that usually have a large dose of sugar, water, and pectin.
Though not a gummy snack, Live it Up is incredibly tasty, affordable, and convenient! Keep in mind that every individual health journey is different, so it’s important to find a dietary supplement that works best for your own needs and goals.

FAQ for Grüns and Bloom Supergreens Gummies
Here are a few common questions to help you on your gummy supplement journey.
What are the best greens gummies?
Everyone’s health goals are different, so what greens gummy supplement that works for you may not be best for someone else. With that said, Grüns contains more added vitamins and minerals, more fiber, and more greens per serving than Bloom Supergreens gummies. On the other hand, Bloom gummies have probiotics, a gut health ingredient that Grüns does not contain and is less expensive.
Are greens gummies actually good for you?
Greens gummies can be a positive addition to your diet depending on your individual needs. Many offer a dose of fiber that can help you get closer to the 25 to 30 grams recommended daily. Plus, a greens gummy like Bloom may provide some probiotics as well, but keep in mind that not all greens gummies contain probiotics.
They can also be a way to get a bit more greens into your diet. However, if you’re taking a greens gummy to help increase your vegetable consumption, note that they may not be contributing as much as you think.
For example, Grüns likely only contains less than 3 grams of greens while Bloom Supergreens Gummies probably contains less than 1 gram of greens (once you factor out the fibers and starches in their formulas). This is compared to a greens powder, such as Live it Up Super Greens, which contains 7.3 grams of greens.
Gummy supplements in general need to be used with caution. They are usually much lower in greens than greens powders, can get stuck in your teeth, which increases the risk for cavities, and have unreliable vitamin and mineral dosing.
What do supergreens gummies do?
Since each brand of greens gummy has different ingredients and nutritional makeup, they’ll each have slightly different potential benefits in the body. Most provide a smattering of greens along with fiber or probiotics, for benefits such as gut health and overall wellness.
For example, Wonder Greens Veggie Gummies has about 1.5 grams of a proprietary vegetable blend, but their focus is probiotics, with 100 billion CFUs along with added vitamin D3.
Grüns’ primary focus is vitamin and mineral content to help fill nutritional gaps, providing 100% of your daily needs for 12 vitamins and 50% of your daily needs for 9 minerals. It also contains 2.5 grams of vegetables and 6 grams of fiber per serving to help support digestive wellness.
What are the side effects of greens gummies?
While most healthy people may not notice any side effects of taking greens gummy supplements, some may experience bloating, abdominal discomfort, gas, and diarrhea. This is especially true of greens supplements with added fiber and probiotics, which take time for the body to acclimate to.
Are super greens powders better than gummies?
Depending on your needs, greens powders are often a better choice than gummies. This is because they can pack in more nutrients, plants, and gut health-benefiting ingredients, as they don't contain fillers such as sugar, pectin, and agar, which are common in gummy supplements.
Ingredients that are often missing from greens gummies but are sometimes used in a daily greens powder include:
Digestive enzyme blend
Leafy greens in larger quantities
Proprietary blends of organic greens
Many greens powders may also contain:
- Green tea extract
- Licorice root extract
- Organic aloe vera
- Tart cherry juice powder
