Bottom Line: Are Bloom Gummies Worth a Try?
While Bloom Supergreen Gummies are delicious and contribute to some of your micronutrient needs with added vitamins and minerals, they are severely lacking in greens. Additionally, these supplements should be taken daily in order to experience the benefits, which means you’d have to buy 3 boxes of Bloom Gummies to get a full month’s worth. In my opinion, you’re much better off choosing a greens powder over gummies.
I prefer Live it Up Super Greens if you are looking to increase your vegetable intake, get more probiotics, and focus on naturally-derived micronutrients.

Bloom Gummies Purported Benefits
Bloom Nutrition greens gummies have slightly different claimed benefits than their greens powder, in part due to additional ingredients such as added vitamins and minerals. In fact, from a dietitian’s POV, the gummies fall much more in line with a multivitamin than their greens powder.
Let’s see if these added ingredients help to support their purported health benefits.
Benefit #1: Relieves Bloat
Bloom greens gummies contain 5 grams of fiber and 2 billion CFU of probiotics. Both of which are important for regularity and bloating relief.
Insoluble fiber helps by increasing the bulk of stool, while soluble fiber helps soften stool by turning into a gel in liquid. Both of these actions help you stay more regular. The less time stool stays in the intestines, the less time the gut bacteria have to break down the food and make more gas. This is why being regular helps support bloating relief.
Probiotics may help with constipation and bloating symptoms by increasing the variety and number of our beneficial gut bacteria, which can help decrease gastrointestinal transit time and increase the bulk of stool.
While Bloom gummies contain 2 billion CFU of probiotics, this is a bit low compared to the amount that has been shown to promote detectable impacts on your health. Additionally, there are no digestive enzymes in the blend to support food breakdown, a key factor in helping bloating.
Bloat-Targeting Ingredients
- Fiber blend: Tapioca Fiber, Chicory Root Inulin
- Probiotics: Bacillus Coagulins SNZ 1969 (2B CFU)
Benefit #2: Supports Digestion and Gut Health
FIber is also imperative for overall digestive health. Each type is important, but prebiotics are particularly critical for gut health and to aid digestion. Prebiotics are a type of fiber, usually soluble, that are the preferred food for our microbiota. And keeping your gut microbes fed with prebiotics is integral to a healthy gut and microbiome.
Additionally, plants and their bioactive phytochemicals play a beneficial role in the composition and proliferation of our good bacteria. Bloom Nutrition Supergreens Gummies contain a Greens, Fruits & Veggies Blend with fifteen different fruits and vegetables which can contribute these important phytonutrients.
However, because the fiber makes up 5 grams of this 5.7 gram blend, this means there could be less than 1 tiny gram of greens and fruit per serving.
Digestion and Gut Health Ingredients
- Fiber and prebiotics
- Organic wheatgrass powder, organic barley grass powder
- Organic strawberry fruit powder
Benefit #3: Promotes Energy
Vitamins and minerals are critical for how our body produces energy. They are used in energy metabolism, oxygen transport, and muscular function. In particular, the B vitamins, iron, vitamin C and zinc play pivotal roles in how our body is able to promote energy levels.
Bloom green gummies have added essential nutrients that help in some of the energy pathways, including vitamin C, two of the B vitamins, and zinc. For some, this may result in enhanced energy levels.
However, one large issue with gummy health supplements is that the heat used during production, along with their moisture and pH, make them inhospitable to vitamins. In fact, gummies are well-known for their nutrient instability. Because of this instability, manufacturers often add several hundred times more vitamins to make up for the fact that they degrade faster and have a shorter shelf life.
This means that a fresh batch of gummies may have more nutrients than what’s listed on the supplement facts panel (which has the potential for vitamin toxicity), and one that’s been sitting on the shelf for longer may have less.
Bloom Gummies Ingredients Breakdown

A health supplement is only as good as its ingredients, so let’s take a closer look at what makes up Bloom Nutrition’s Supergreens Gummies.
Greens, Fruits & Veggies Blend
At 5.7 grams, this green superfood blend makes up the primary source of fiber, plants, and phytonutrients.
In ingredient lists, ingredients must be recorded from largest to smallest volume. This means that tapioca fiber and chicory root inulin make up most of this greens blend. In fact, there are 5 grams of fiber per serving, which is an excellent amount. But this leaves only 0.7 grams in this blend for all the other plants.
I love the variety in this greens blend, though I’m a bit disappointed that there isn’t a bigger dose of real superfoods.
Probiotics & Added Vitamins and Minerals
Bloom greens gummies contain 2 billion CFU Bacillus coagulans SNZ 1969. This specific strain has been studied for its potential role in gut health, immune support, and regularity.
Additionally, these gummies contain 9 added vitamins and minerals. While I prefer naturally-derived micronutrients when it comes to greens products, I appreciate that Bloom added these because it helps give the product a more robust nutrient profile as a multivitamin.
With that said, they included a whopping 571% of your daily recommended chromium intake. While no adverse effects have been linked to “too much” chromium intake, the National Academies Food and Nutrition Board also cautions that discretion is imperative since there is very little data on high intakes of chromium.
Be sure to chat with your healthcare professional before starting any new dietary supplements to ensure it works with your current medications, supplements, and health.
Other Ingredients (Fillers)
Gummy candy has a ubiquitous texture (and taste!) that makes them so enticing.
But to get to this beloved structure, several ingredients are a must: sugar, water, and some sort of gelling agent like pectin and agar. These fillers make up the primary volume of any gummy supplement, meaning that most of what you’re eating is the structure, leaving less room for the nutrient-packed ingredients.
Other ingredients in Bloom greens gummies include white mineral oil and carnauba wax, both of which are needed to help prevent the gummies from sticking together, give them a nice shine, and help prevent them from melting. Again, these are necessary fillers for the product, but this is why I definitely prefer greens powders instead.
Bloom Gummies Quality and Safety
Just like Bloom Greens & Superfoods, Bloom Supergreens Gummies are third-party tested and produced in a GMP certified facility located in the USA. This is also true of Live it Up Super Greens, which holds its products to a high standard as well.
I was also happy to see that this company’s green gummies include far more organic fruits and vegetables than their original powder.
Bloom Gummies Cost Analysis
At first look, these gummies come in at what seems like a fairly decent price. In fact, one purchase of Bloom Supergreens Gummies is almost half the amount that the powdered Bloom Greens cost.
Looking closer, we see that per serving, they are actually much more expensive.
- One-time purchase (12 servings per box): $19.99 ($1.66 per serving)
-
Monthly subscription price (still at 12 servings): $17.99 ($1.49 per serving)
- Free shipping with monthly subscription
-
Returns must meet these conditions:
- Unopened and undamaged
- Full refund only if returned within 15 days of receiving
- Postage not provided
In comparison, a monthly subscription for Live it Up Super Greens costs $1.33 and comes with free shipping on all orders plus a 30-day money back guarantee on first time orders.
Bloom Gummies Taste Review

While this product is fairly new, there’s been some good feedback from consumers. Most people truly enjoy the taste, some even enjoy it more than Grüns.
Others (like me) are a bit disappointed with the texture.
Personal Experience: These gummies taste good, very similar to their greens product but with a more concentrated sweet and tart flavor. The part I’m having trouble with is the texture. They turn mushy-gooey, get stuck in my teeth, and leave a strange film in my mouth.
Why I Recommend Live it Up Super Greens

Overall, Bloom Supergreens Gummies can make a good addition to your diet if you’re looking for a tasty mini multivitamin that provides nine vitamins and minerals, 5 grams of fiber, and 2 CFU probiotics.
It should be made clear that Bloom gummies contain less than half the amount of greens as Bloom's greens powder (which even then, is a smaller amount of greens than competitors like AG1 and Live it Up), so if you’re looking to fill vegetable gaps, the gummies may not be an ideal option.
This is a prime reason why I very much prefer (and recommend) Live it Up Super Greens. Super Greens contains a whopping 7.3 grams of plants or 3 cups of vegetables per scoop.
More importantly, Super Greens does not contain fillers like Bloom Gummies does - no added sugar, no gelling agents, no mineral oil - just plants, probiotics, and digestive enzymes. And no synthetic vitamins or minerals. Live it Up Super Greens is all-natural and contains 5 billion CFU probiotics, more than twice the amount in Bloom Gummies.
Every supplement fits different individual goals, so it’s important to look at your own needs and decide what dietary supplement best fits your lifestyle and health. Also, while it can be absolutely beneficial to get extra veggies from a greens powder, keep in mind that nothing can replace the whole vegetables and fruits that are an integral part of a healthy diet.
FAQs About Bloom Gummies
With Bloom Supergreens Gummies being so new, here are additional facts that can be helpful as you decide if they are right for you.
Are Supergreens Gummies better than powder?
Overall, greens powders are a better choice than gummies as they have less fillers, no added sugar, and usually contain much more vegetables and phytonutrients per serving. Also, they are much more shelf stable, meaning when stored correctly, their nutrients will last longer than those in gummy supplements.
When it comes to Bloom Supergreens Gummies versus Bloom Greens & Superfoods powder, here are the primary differences:
Blends
- Bloom greens powder contains a Green Superfood Blend, Antioxidant Beauty Blend, Pre and Probiotic Blend, Adaptogenic Blend, and Fiber Blend
- Bloom Gummies only contains one vegetable blend, the Greens, Fruits & Veggies Blend
Ingredients
- Bloom greens powder contains more plants, including organic alfalfa leaf powder, cranberry fruit powder, blue agave inulin, purple carrot juice concentrate, goji berry, and grape seed extract.
- Bloom Gummies have less plants, but similar ones between the two formulas include organic chlorella, kale leaf powder, beet root powder, and broccoli powder.
Flavors
- Bloom greens powder comes in 10 flavors, including Berry, Strawberry Kiwi, Orange Passionfruit, and Mango flavors.
- Bloom Gummies come in just one flavor currently: Strawberry Kiwi
What are Bloom Creatine Gummies?
Bloom Creatine Gummies are geared toward women who want to fuel their muscles and recovery. Each serving contains 5 grams of creatine monohydrate. Research indicates that while creatine monohydrate can be an excellent way to support muscle tone, maintenance, and growth, it may also support brain health.
Flavors available: Berry Boost and Orange Squeeze
Ingredients: Interestingly, the creatine gummies contain quite different ingredients to maintain their sweetness and gummy structure, including fractionated coconut oil, maltitol syrup, isomalt, xylitol, pectin, and carnauba wax.
What do Bloom Gummies do?
Bloom currently sells two gummy health supplements, Supergreens Gummies and Creatine Gummies. Supergreens Gummies are meant to support gut health, energy, metabolism, and nutrient gaps, while the Creatine Gummies are meant to support lean muscle and brain health.
Does Bloom actually work for weight loss?
Bloom claims their Supergreen Gummies supports metabolism by including a large dose of chromium. Chromium helps break down fat and carbohydrates into energy that the body can use, and may enhance insulin’s actions. Some research also indicates that chromium may reduce cravings and hunger levels, which may result in weight loss, but studies show very minimal weight changes compared to placebo.
The authors of a Cochrane Review said chromium’s impact on weight has debatable clinical relevance since the quality of the studies are low.
What are the side effects of taking Bloom?
While most healthy people do not experience side effects from taking Bloom Greens & Superfoods or Bloom Supergreens Gummies, others may experience gas, bloating, or digestive upset. Some of these side effects may be from the added fibers, probiotics, or other ingredients that the person may not be used to consuming.
These side effects are usually transient, meaning they will only last a couple weeks while your body adjusts. WIth that said, if you experience them for longer or are uncomfortable, it’s likely the supplement is not the right choice for your body.
