In recent years, greens powders have become one of my top recommendations to help clients supplement their everyday nutrition. However, taste and texture can be the biggest obstacles stopping people from adding a greens supplement to their routines.
With that in mind, I decided to compare Bloom Greens and Kiala Greens—brands known for their wide variety of flavors—with Live it Up Super Greens, my go-to daily greens powder. After looking closely at their respective Supplement Facts and trying each greens blend, Super Greens still gets my vote as the greens powder with the most complete formula, all-natural ingredients, and excellent taste and drinkability.
In this comparison, I’ll discuss everything I learned about Kiala, Bloom, and Live it Up, so you can decide whether a daily glass of greens could help support your health and wellness goals. Let’s get started!

Kiala Greens Overview
Let’s take a closer look at the pros, cons, price, and bottom line for these greens and its manufacturer, Kiala Nutrition.
What Is Kiala Nutrition?

Kiala Greens, a blend of 34 ingredients including superfoods, fruits, and vegetables, is the only product sold by Kiala Nutrition, a supplements company founded by Jack Szymczak and Pete Christel in 2021.
The company successfully partnered with wellness influencers to promote their greens powder, which is marketed almost exclusively to women. In countless videos, TikTok creators praise Kiala’s taste and discuss the positive effects they’ve noticed in bloating, energy levels, and skin appearance.

Bottom Line: Kiala Greens could be a good choice for those looking for a very sweet, flavored greens powder made with fruit and vegetable extracts and minimal extras. However, the label offers few details about the supplement’s nutritional value.
Bloom Greens Overview
Like Kiala, Bloom Greens takes its TikTok and Instagram presence very seriously and has recently started showing up at retailers like Target, Walmart, and GNC. Here’s what you should know about Bloom’s formula, price, and taste.
What Is Bloom Nutrition?

Bloom Nutrition is a supplements company founded by the husband-and-wife team of Mari Llewellyn and Greg LaVecchia. Llewellyn, a fitness influencer, was inspired to create a line of female-focused nutritional supplements after embarking on a weight loss and wellness journey. - Manufactured in GMP-certified facilities
- No added sugars or artificial sweeteners
- Third-party tested for safety and purity

Bottom Line: Many customers enjoy Bloom’s fruity flavors and convenient stick packs, though the stevia aftertaste and excessive sweetness can be off-putting to those looking for a more traditional greens powder. It’s also hard to say how much nutritional value and gut support you could get from this blend.

Potential Health Benefits
Before recommending a green powder to my clients, I always look into the science behind the manufacturer’s claims. After closely investigating all three supplements, here are my findings on whether they might deliver the potential benefits.
#1. Boost Nutrition
Based on their list of plant-based ingredients, it’s reasonable to assume that Bloom and Kiala each contain a variety of micronutrients. However, the Supplement Facts offer little transparency about the vitamins and minerals they contain. Kiala only lists tiny amounts of calcium and potassium, while Bloom only lists iron.
On the other hand, Live it Up Super Greens lists 22 vitamins and minerals, including vitamin A, vitamin K, vitamin B2, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, folate, calcium, iron, phosphorus, magnesium, manganese, potassium, iodine, and many others.
#2. Aid Digestion and Bloating
Supporting your gut health with powdered fruits and vegetables is a good reason to add a high-quality greens powder to your diet. In effective doses, greens like dandelion, peppermint leaf, ginger root, alfalfa, wheat grass, and barley grass provide essential nutrients that may support a healthy microbiome, promote nutrient absorption, and encourage digestive regularity.
When choosing a greens powder, look for one that also contains gut-supporting ingredients like fiber, probiotics, and digestive enzymes. These three brands have notable differences in their formulas regarding gut health.
- Kiala Greens does not contain any of these ingredients.
- Bloom contains digestive enzymes, a fiber blend (only 2 grams), prebiotics, and several strains of probiotics. However, the CFU amount of probiotics is not specified, leaving customers to hope that it’s enough to benefit their gut health.
- Live it Up Super Greens contains 3 grams of dietary fiber and multiple digestive enzymes, specifically fruit-derived papain and bromelain, and vegetarian pepsin. A serving of Super Greens provides 5 billion CFU of dairy-free probiotics. This aligns with the suggested amount that many nutrition professionals recommend to support digestion and help manage bloating.
#3. Support Immunity
Numerous leafy greens, herbs, fruits, and vegetables in Live it Up, Kiala, and Bloom may contribute to a healthy immune system. For example, Live it Up Super Greens contains nutrient-dense foods like barley grass, burdock root, nopal cactus, moringa, broccoli, and dulse that have been linked to immune support, thanks to high levels of vitamin C and beta carotene.
Kiala and Bloom contain antioxidant-rich powdered fruits and vegetables like camu camu, acerola, green tea, acai, spinach, kale, elderberry, goji, and bilberry to support normal immune function by neutralizing free radicals, combating oxidative stress, and potentially reducing inflammation. As I mentioned earlier, neither Kiala nor Bloom list key nutrients like vitamins A, D, and E, plus selenium and zinc, so it’s hard to say how much these blends can support immune resilience.
#4. Maintain Energy Levels
Many people who drink a daily greens powder notice an improvement in their normal energy levels. Some blends, like Bloom and Kiala, contain small amounts of caffeine from coffee and/or green tea extract. However, this is far less than the amount in a cup of coffee and isn’t likely to be noticed by people with a typical reaction to caffeine.
Instead, many of the energy-supporting benefits of greens powders come from the greens themselves. For example, kale, broccoli, and spinach are rich in a wide range of vitamins and minerals, including B vitamins, vitamin D, iron, magnesium, and zinc.
Although Kiala, Bloom, and Live it Up all contain dark leafy greens that are nutrient-dense in their natural form, only Live it Up lists the amounts of vitamins and minerals per serving, letting customers know they are getting micronutrients to naturally support energy balance without additional caffeine.
Formula Breakdown
Let’s discuss the similarities and differences in the Kiala, Bloom, and Live it Up formulas to determine how each greens powder provides nutrition support.
Organic Superfoods
Unlike some greens powders that contain dozens of ingredients and added vitamins, Live it Up, Bloom, and Kiala have more manageable ingredient lists.
For example, Live it Up Super Greens contains just over 20 superfoods, each chosen for nutrient density and potential health benefits. Live it Up ensures that its formula contains effective amounts of each superfood, rather than “overstuffing” with tiny amounts of many ingredients.
While all three formulas are non-GMO and made with organic vegetables, there are a few key differences.
- Kiala has organic coconut water powder, which provides electrolytes to help with fluid balance and muscle function.
- Bloom contains an adaptogen blend with ashwagandha, eleuthero, Rhodiola, and astragalus to support a balanced stress response.
- Live it Up Super Greens focuses on nutritional powerhouses like spirulina, chlorella, kelp, and wheatgrass. The green superfood blend also features nopal cactus, dulse, nettle leaf, burdock root, and horsetail that provide polyphenols, known for their antioxidant effects.
Manufacturing Quality and Safety
Kiala, Bloom, and Live it Up have extensive quality and safety certifications. Each company’s greens powder is:
- Made in the USA
- Produced in Good Manufacturing Practices-compliant facilities
- Third-party tested to ensure they are free from heavy metals and other contaminants.
All three greens powders are non-GMO and free from dairy, gluten, and soy, but Live it Up is the most allergen-friendly of the three.
Kiala Greens contains coconut water powder, so those with tree nut allergies should avoid it. Likewise, Bloom supplements are “made in a facility that also processes nuts and dairy products,” so certain individuals may want to discuss potential safety issues with their doctor. It’s also worth noting that Kiala and Bloom both contain the additive maltodextrin, presumably to improve the consistency or shelf life of the powders.
Sweeteners
There are no added sugars in the green powders made by Kiala, Bloom, and Live it Up. However, each brand uses a different sweetener to make their greens tastier.
- Kiala Greens uses sucralose, an artificial sweetener made by chemically modifying sucrose (table sugar).
- Bloom Greens contains stevia leaf extract. It’s a natural sugar substitute, though some dislike its distinctive aftertaste.
- Live it Up uses monk fruit extract, a plant-derived, no-calorie sweetener widely considered to have a more natural taste than many sugar substitutes. Though additional research is needed, compounds in monk fruit known as mogrosides may offer anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
Taste, Texture, and Mixability Review
A greens powder can be an excellent way to support your overall health and nutrition. However, enjoying the taste is essential if you want to stick with this healthy habit – and some greens powders are far more drinkable than others.
Kiala Greens
Sweet, blended flavors like Miami Vice and Tropical Splash are undoubtedly one of Kiala’s biggest selling points. After trying some, I found that Kiala does a good job of hiding the earthy and sometimes bitter taste of green superfoods.
Personally, I prefer a lighter touch, so the heavy use of sucralose in Kiala was a definite downside. Additionally, although Kiala isn’t as gritty as some supplement powders I’ve tried, it has a distinctly chalky texture.
While reading online feedback about Kiala, I noticed similar reactions from numerous customers:
Bloom Greens
Like Kiala, Bloom Greens boasts numerous fruit flavors, including Coconut, Mango, Citrus, and Strawberry Kiwi. I was excited to try Bloom, yet was ultimately disappointed. Although I like that the fun flavors are helping people get more vegetables into their diet, the drink itself wasn’t particularly palatable when mixed with water. I noticed a bitter stevia aftertaste and a grainy residue.
Quite a few reviewers mentioned that both the taste and consistency could be improved by blending Bloom into a fruit smoothie. However, this somewhat negates the convenience of greens powders, which should be easy to prepare in a glass of water.
Live it Up Super Greens
Live it Up has been my favorite greens powder for several years, and the enjoyable taste is a major reason why I drink Super Greens every morning. The powder dissolves easily when stirred into water, so I don’t need to use my hand frother or make a smoothie just to enjoy an extra serving of greens.
Super Greens is available in two flavors, each with a distinctive taste. While Original is lightly sweet with a hint of peppermint, Wild Berries has a somewhat tart taste, almost like drinking a fruity tea.
Like many other customers, I like that monk fruit is the only sweetener in Live it Up, with no added sugars, sucralose, or stevia.
Cost Comparison
To make a daily nutrition habit sustainable, it has to fit with your lifestyle and budget. Here’s how Live it Up, Kiala, and Bloom compare in terms of subscription costs, shipping, and returns.
Loyalty Perks
- Kiala’s 30-serving containers are priced at $49.99, or $1.67 per serving. With a subscription, customers pay a monthly cost of $37.46 ($1.25 per serving).
- A 30-serving container of Bloom Greens & Superfoods usually costs $34.99, or $1.16 per serving. Subscribers pay $31.49 ($1.04 per serving) every month. Bloom’s single-serving stick packs are significantly more expensive at $1.86 each.
- A one-time order of Live it Up Super Greens is $59.99 for a 30-serving container, or $1.99 per serving. With a monthly subscription that can be paused, adjusted or canceled at any time, customers save 33% and pay $39.99 ($1.33 per serving).
Shipping
- Kiala and Live it Up both offer free U.S. shipping for all one-time orders and subscriptions.
- Bloom offers free shipping for subscribers, though one-time orders have a $5 delivery fee unless you spend over $50 in a single transaction.
Return Policies
One of the best ways to make sure a greens powder is right for you is by taste-testing, but that’s not feasible if companies lack a strong risk-free guarantee.
- Live it Up offers a 30-day satisfaction guarantee on initial orders for customers who aren’t happy with their purchase for any reason.
- Bloom and Kiala are less accommodating. Customers may send back unopened containers for a refund within 15 days of receiving the product.
Why Choose Live it Up Super Greens

While there’s no substitute for a healthy diet full of whole fruits and vegetables, a comprehensive greens powder may help to bridge the gaps in your nutrient intake. Ingredients and micronutrients matter, which is why I choose Live it Up Super Greens as my daily greens powder supplement.
Although both Bloom Greens and Kiala have high manufacturing standards, a wide variety of non-GMO ingredients, and fun flavors, they fall short on formula transparency. Unlike Live it Up, neither one lists the vitamin and mineral content. Furthermore, Kiala completely lacks gut-supporting ingredients like fiber, probiotics, and digestive enzymes. Live it Up’s smooth texture and naturally derived flavors also win out over the excessive sweetness of sucralose and stevia in Kiala and Bloom.
Of course, everyone has unique taste preferences and wellness goals. However, when it comes to an affordable greens powder that’s easy to prepare, delicious to drink, and full of nutrient-dense ingredients, look no further than my personal favorite, Live it Up Super Greens.
